The Pomegranate PeopleWe’re passionate about pomegranates. As the largest grower of pomegranates in the United States, it’s our goal to bring one of the most treasured fruits known to man since biblical times into the home of more people for eating, drinking and healthier living. We’ve planted thousands of acres of pomegranates in the sunny San Joaquin Valley in Central California. The only variety we grow is the Wonderful variety because of its large size, gorgeous coloring, balanced blend of sweet juice and extraordinary polyphenol antioxidants. We grow each and every POM Wonderful pomegranate exclusively in our California orchards, where they’re hand picked and squeezed on-site. And you can rest assured that we use these very same pomegranates to make all of our products, including the POMx Pill and Liquid Supplements, POM Wonderful Pomegranate Juice and POM Tea. We also believe in the importance of research. In 1998, we began working with a number of top scientists in their fields, including a Nobel Laureate, to find out if the many stories about the health benefits of the pomegranate were true. To date, we’ve spent well over $20 million in our research program and championed multiple, peer-reviewed studies in areas ranging from cardiovascular disease to prostate cancer. Our research continues – with several additional studies currently in progress. We’re so serious about the pomegranate and so strongly believe that everyone can benefit from its unique properties that we’ve created a myriad of ways for you to enjoy all its benefits.
